Why is it so hard to stop laughing in church once you get started? Maybe because you're not supposed to...
There were a couple of unfortunate choices of words in the service this morning. In the first prayer pastor Kim said, "God, let the wind of Your Spirit be in this place," at which point I was thinking, no, please don't say it... "Let it break over us..."
I almost lost it. She asked God to break wind over us. Niiiiice.
Then, during the sermon, Pastor Gary was talking about how Satan wants to find our faults, our flaws and our sins, and *ahem* "throw them up in your face." Not quite as funny as God farting on the assembled congregation, but so gross.
I can't believe I haven't been struck by lightning. Yet.
